History of Community Service


Growing up in District 2, Adam Medrano was raised to believe in community service.  For him, it's a way of life.  He has a long history of serving and volunteering for a number of organizations in the community.

Adam worked for the City of Dallas, Parks and Recreation Department for nearly a decade managing and overseeing the operations of several recreation centers.  This included managing and supervising employees, program planning and development, special event planning, budgeting and fundraising.  It required him to do community outreach, focus on community relations and customer service.  He introduced creative and innovative recreation programs increasing revenue for programs by 78% in one fiscal year.  Adam is dedicated to the children and youth of the community and put special emphasis on strengthening youth programs, sports camps and leagues. 

Adam Medrano brings energy and enthusiasm to everything he does.  He is bright, hardworking, trustworthy and completely dedicated to the city of Dallas.  With his experience and qualifications, Adam is the most qualified candidate to represent District 2 on the Dallas City Council.
