Dallas ISD Trustee, District 8

adam_at_school_board.jpgWhile serving on the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees from 2006 to 2013, Adam Medrano had a proven record of achievement and accomplishment. Adam is very proud of the fact that all of the schools in his district improved during his tenure to a passing rate.

The youngest person ever elected to the Dallas ISD School Board, Adam brought a fresh prospective to the Dallas School Board. Adam’s leadership for reform earned him the respect of his colleagues. In 2007, Mr. Medrano was elected to serve as the Board’s First Vice-President in a unanimous vote.  He was elected three separate times to serve as President of the School Board.

Adam is a coalition builder who can work with everyone to get people on the same side. He worked on the School Board to set policies that support the School District’s goals while fighting for fairness for teachers, parents and students.
